2. Alex and the Butterfly

Alex was a curious boy who lived in a quiet village near a magical forest. He loved running through the fields, listening to the birds, and watching the clouds. But sometimes, Alex felt small and unimportant. He wondered, “Am I special? Do I matter in such a big world?”

One day, while walking through the fields, Alex found a cocoon hanging from a twig. It was small and almost invisible. Curious, Alex sat down beside it.

“This little thing looks lifeless,” he said to himself. “What could be the purpose of something so tiny?”

The next day, Alex returned to the cocoon. To his surprise, it began to move. Patiently, he waited. A butterfly emerged, its wings shimmering with beautiful colors.

The butterfly lifted into the air, fluttering from flower to flower. Alex was amazed.

“How can something so small be so beautiful?” he wondered aloud.

An old man working nearby overheard him and replied,

“You see, Alex, everything in nature has a purpose, no matter how small. The butterfly brings life. As it flies, it carries pollen from one flower to another, helping them grow.”

Alex thought for a moment.

“So, even something as small as a butterfly can make a difference?”

The old man smiled.

“Yes. It’s the same with you. The universe doesn’t make mistakes. You are here for a reason. Maybe you don’t see it yet, but you have the power to make the world more beautiful, just like the butterfly helps flowers bloom.”

Alex watched the butterfly disappear into the distance. He now understood that, like the butterfly, he had a role in this world.

From that day on, Alex never felt small or unimportant again. He knew that everything, no matter how tiny, was part of a bigger plan—and he was exactly where he was meant to be.
