If you have no goal in life, no dream, no direction, then you drift along with the waves of existence. And there’s nothing wrong with that, but you won’t get anywhere either.
On the other hand, if you choose to have a purpose, even if it’s just one possibility among countless others, then your mind knows where to go. You can be yourself, but you need a direction.
The sooner and the clearer you define your path, the more your mind will know how to seek solutions, recognize opportunities, and distinguish meaning. The subconscious works as well, even if you don’t directly notice it. It operates on another level of the mind, yet it is extremely active.
The beauty of understanding this mechanism is that life becomes simpler. How? The mind no longer wanders chaotically in search of "something" because it already knows what it has to do. It has a clear goal.
If you remind yourself of this plan daily, in the morning, refreshing your desire and target, you help your mind stay on a clear path. Otherwise, it will jump around like an untrained and unnoticed little monkey, and you will only feel dissatisfaction.
You don’t have to be a genius to succeed in life; you just need to be clear about the path you choose—whatever it may be.
Your soul, in its natural state, is here to experience and to rejoice. The mind, however, is the one that judges. The ego has developed, and in many cases, it becomes larger than you. A wounded ego grows even more.
Make peace within yourself, and this harmony will flow into your daily life.
Don’t rush to believe that everything can change overnight. But don’t give up either. Have a clear goal and trust the process.
You don’t need mantras or prayers; you just need yourself. To be present. To be you. To observe how the mind rushes from one place to another, making you believe that’s who you are. But deep down, you don’t want to feel this way.
If you understand what I’m saying, then stay aware and be the master of your own life.
Five minutes today, ten minutes tomorrow. It's a beginning, a decision.
Remember these words when you’re not feeling well.
Are you the one who is not feeling well? Or is your mind telling you that? Your wounded ego? The mind that labels everything, that has all sorts of demands, that desires cars, vacations, things it does not have right now? But wasn’t it the same mind, a year ago, longing for what you already have today? And after achieving it, didn’t it start wanting something else?
And that’s okay. We are human, and we need the mind. But don’t let the mind turn you into a slave that just keeps pulling and pulling, never satisfied, because it never quite reaches the prize.
Well, maybe I’ve exaggerated today.
Just some thoughts shared from my own perception. Take them as they are.
